Historical Pledges
The Women’s Board recently completed its $1 million pledge for capital projects. The Women’s Board has also contributed funding to help the zoo complete projects including the Flamingo Pond and scenic overlook, Regenstein Center for African Apes, the East Gate entry plaza and the Kovler Lion House outdoor exhibit.

Current Pledge
The Women’s Board hosts the largest fundraiser for Lincoln Park Zoo, Zoo Ball, which consistently raises more than $500,000. The Board is now raising funds to support the operations of Education initiatives available to all Chicagoland children as well as its $2 million pledge to create the zoo’s Nature Boardwalk.
